NEW Photos!!!Change of Command Ceremony  PR-AAR Change of Command
Company D-8 conducted a most successful Change of Command Ceremony  on the steps of Keating Hall. Including Aggressors there were twenty-five P/R's present (see pictures.) Two more were away at Airborne and Air Assault School. During the ceremony Ed Collins presented the P/R  Ernie Conception award to freshman P/R Private Deardorff. Following the ceremony I met with outgoing C.O. Fitzgerald,  incoming C.O. Del Vecchio, and incoming First Sergant Scaturro at Company D's sharp, private office in the McGinley Center. The officers confirmed to me that Club Stauts is in order, budget is submitted and looking good for "thousands" in September, and ROTC relations are excellent. The Company fills almost all key ROTC positions, as well as Ranger Challenge, AUSA, and Color Guard. The four of us reviewed once again the mission-critical issues that continually require command attention, including a new one, training sites. After the meeting we joined Ed Collins and Fordham Dean Socci at Emelia's Restaurant on Arthur, where discussions continued.  Company officers, NCO's, and Privates, as well as Alumni, should be very proud of Company D-8 at this time.
NEW!!! 2009 ROTC Ball Photos
The Fordham Army ROTC held its annual Military Ball and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Friday evening 6 March 2009 at Marina Del Ray in the Bronx. It was a grand affair with two-hundred fifty attendees. Female cadets were in uniform. Company D-8 was well represented. Three of the five HOF inductees were P/R's, namely, Colonel Bill McGuth, Colonel Dan Cremin, and First Lieutenant Frank Deusebio. Colonel McGuth and Colonel Cremin delivered remarks to the cadets and guests, as did Lieutenant Deusebio's brother. Lieutenant Deusebio was killed in action in Viet Nam in 1968 and was awarded the Silver Star. The traditional Fordham sabre award and the Ram Battalion award were both presented to P/R Meara O'Hara, who is the current Company Commander. The P/R's were well represented as the accompanying pictures indicate. Among notable P/R attendees were former ROTC PMS and board member LTC Mike Hoblin and his wife, Father Dan Sullivan, former ROTC cadre member and board member Frank Licameli, HOF member Bill Burke, P/R board member Andrew King, former P/R Comany Commanders Ryan Doherty and Julio Flores, ROTC gold bar Paul Savitsky, and P/R counsel Phil Crotty. In all four board members were present. PMS Randy Powell reported that the state of ROTC recruiting is very good. He also thanked Fordham for its support of the ROTC program which exceeds the support of other universities, he said.

When sending your annual check to Fordham, please remember to indicate on the check and by separate notation that the check should be allocated to P/R Club account # 525165-0520.
